I’ve lived in Boca Raton for most of my life, regardless of the fact that I am a self proclaimed New Yorker, I know this city like the back of my hand. So anytime a new place opens up, I am always interested in trying it out. Therefore, The Locale was on my list.
The Restaurant
The Locale is located across the street from Royal Palm plaza, a spot that many locals frequent. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and includes a covered outdoor patio as well. The Drinks
I set up all my equipment as each dish came out. The food smelled amazing and the beautiful colors on each plate came out so well for us to create content from. Just based on the menu, there were some Brazilian influenced foods and drinks as options, which clearly got me more excited. My coworker and I both opted for Cai-perinia’s, a famous Brazilian drink made with cachaça, sugar, and lime. They offered a flavored option, so I got the passion fruit and my colleague got the coconut.
The drinks were delicious! We also got two of The Locale’s specialty drinks and let me tell you, if you are looking for insta-worthy content, you’ve found it. The first specialty drink we got had Simply The Best’s logo printed on it. Marcos, the owner, told us they can print virtually anything, a photo, message, logo, you name it.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Anyone else thinking it’s perfect for a birthday celebration or special event? As someone who loves a theme, I think this is so cute!
The second specialty drink we had to get our video ready for, it arrived in a martini glass with a white smoky bubble on top. They instructed us to pop the bubble with the toothpick as smoke arose from the glass.

As I said previously, I’ve lived in Boca Raton for most of my life and I am always looking for the coolest fresh places in town. I can honestly say I haven’t seen drinks like these anywhere else in our area. So I was super excited about how yummy and cool the drinks were which made me even more psyched to see how the food would be.

The Food
We ordered two dishes and split them. One was the new chicken dish, and the other was a steak, Picanha. They arrived, and each dish was beautifully presented. The attention to detail in these dishes was incredible! Each plate featured a range of colors. It had a side, the main meal, and some sauce.
The picanha was cooked just right and all the sides complemented it beautifully. Not to mention it came with both a rub and a sauce. The rub apparently was some sort of traditional Brazilian spice blend and it added a bit more flavoring to the meat, not that it needed it, to be honest. The sauce was also a great compliment to the dish as it just added another layer to taste.
The chicken was moist and paired well with the mashed potatoes. They layered the sauce on top, but it was not overpowering. The sauce had a delicious and creamy flavor. Everything we had tasted was incredible, and the service was fantastic!
